Getting your Measurements
Collections by Evelyn
Take your time taking  your measurements.  The seamstress can only work with the figures you give us.  We want you to have a perfectly fitted jacket!

Call me if you have any measurement questions. We can do your measurements over the phone.

A suggestion for accurate waist placement is to tie a string around your natural waist and you will also have a guide for the other measurements.

It is helpful to use a jacket that has a good fit and you can get a shoulder and arm length measurement from that jacket.

Remember to bend your arm as if you are riding so your sleeve will be long enough. Also stretch out your arms forward to get the around the back measurement.

I add about 2 inches to the length of the leg of the jumpsuit so that when you are astride on the horse your pant leg will not be too short.

If you have a rounded tummy, measure around your tummy while you are sitting.

        Youth Measurements

Please do not add growing room to the measurents that you send to us.  We will account for the extra room . Our goal is to have two years, but not so much to where the outfit looks sloppy!

Arm measurement seems to be the hardest to to measure.
Place the tape at the top of your arm, where the shoulder seam should be . Bring the tape around the back of your bent arm down to your wrist.
Bend your arm forward as if you are riding your horse.
